OROVILLE — Two area casinos are reopening after closing their doors in March due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Gold Country Casino is phasing in its reopening starting with the slot floor at noon on Friday and continuing to operate 24/7. Other casino venues will be reopened at later dates.

The casino will be screening all guests, employees and vendors before allowing them entrance into the facility. Face masks are required. There will also be sanitation stations located throughout the facility for guests to clean their hands. Texas holdem ipad offline.

Social distancing mitigations at the casino include “adequately spaced slot machines” and “Plexiglas shields installed in key locations across all venues,” according to a press release Tuesday.

Gold Country took advantage of the novel coronavirus shutdown to do some remodeling and upgrades installing new carpet and tile to the casino floor as well as adjusting its layout to better accommodate social distancing.

In Corning, Rolling Hills Casino reopens Thursday. Face masks are required and temperature checks will be performed at the entrances. Precautions such as extra sanitizer stations, barriers around the buffet and social distancing have been established, according to the casino’s website. Additionally gaming machines will be cleaned between play use; the air filtration system has been boosted so that inside air will be replenished with outside air every five minutes; and hand sanitizing stations have been set up throughout the casino and hotel.

Casino hours of operation will be from 7 a.m. to midnight Sunday through Thursday and 7 a.m. to 2 a.m. Friday and Saturday.

Oroville’s other gambling den, Feather Falls Casino, has not released information on its reopening plans yet however, according to its website, a new ventilation system as been installed that will “not only freshen air on the gaming floor but also help to combat viruses and bacteria in the atmosphere and on surfaces.”

Masks must be worn before entering the property.
The Main entrance will be the only entrance available. All others will be closed.
Priority lines for VIP Eagles, First Responders and Healthcare Workers will be available.
A Welcome Host will be present to offer hand sanitizer and masks, as well as opening and sanitizing the doors after guests enter.
Upon entry, each guest will go through a contactless, thermal imaging process. If found to have a temperature of 100.4 degrees or higher, guests will not be permitted to enter.

Hotel guests will be required to take temperature checks daily while on property.
50% occupancy levels will be maintained in each venue throughout the property, with 6′ Social Distancing Guideline posted throughout.
Table Games will remove every other chair to ensure social distancing.
On the gaming floor, alternating slot machines will remain out of service to ensure social distancing.
SMOKING WILL NOT BE ALLOWED within the property. A designated “Smoking Area' will be provided outside.

If guests do not comply with the set guidelines, they will be asked to leave the property.
